The Jodrell Bank Observatory is a British observatory that hosts a number of radio telescopes. The observatory was established in 1945 by Sir Bernard Lovell, a radio astronomer at the University of Manchester.

The main telescope at the observatory is the Lovell Telescope, which is the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world. The site of the observatory includes the Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre and an arboretum.

Quarry Bank Mill is one of the best preserved textile mills of the Industrial Revolution and is now a museum of the cotton industry. Built in 1784, the mill is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
